spiral flower
In spiral
flowers,
perianth-leaves,
stamen, or
carpels are arranged spirally instead of being
whorled. Flowers with all floral organs being arranged spirally can especially be found in
basal groups like
Magnolia. Spirally arranged
carpels can be found e. g. in
Myosurus minimus – Mousetail and other Ranunculaceae – Buttercup
family members.
