hastate lamina

A hastate lamina is typically elongate and acute and characterised by a deeply emarginate leaf base. The basal leaf-lobes are pointing towards the outside (e. g. in Rumex acetosella – Sheep's Sorrel) (cf. also sagittate lamina).
